A Christmas tag

 Hello!!

Christmas is coming and we can feel it everywhere! It’s my favorite time of the year and this time I’m making handmade tags for our presents for the first time! It has been a lot of fun!

Today I wanna show you a tag that I made inspired on this image from the Creative Embellishments December Challenge

And this is my tag

I embossed the background and use little sequins in different colors to get a vintage vibe like the one in the photo. I got inspired by the colors and the style (though is not my specialty hehe). I love the overall result and I hope you do too!

hugs,

Karen

A Spring Album

Hello!!! Today I am very excited because I have been working on this project for days and I finally finished it! I think this is the biggest mini album I have made from scratch and I am super happy with the result. I hope you like it too! I followed a youtube tutorial by Alua Cid , she has the tutorial in both Spanish and English. I customized a lot of the decoration, specially the cover. I got some inspiration from More than Words Challenge Blog which has a challenge of using birds and/or bugs and I thought it would fit perfect for this Album, and it did! The second requirement of the challenge was the inspiration word "Everyday" and, to me, nothing represents this word better than a scrapbooking Album because there is where I record my everyday, where I put all my family's memories and where the future generations will know how we lived our lives. And that's how this Album turned out! This is the cover, I used the collection "Take me Away...

A letter for Grandma and Grandpa

Hi! Days keep passing and my quarantine journal is getting bigger and bigger! I'm thinking of changing it to a weekly journal instead of a daily one. What do you think? On today's page, my son Andy made a drawing and a letter for his Grandparents in Mississippi, he was very excited to be able to actually put it on the mail! I used some flowers to embellish the right and a Paper Smooches stamp at the bottom of my page, I really like how it turned out! I hope you're staying safe and that you find some inspiration here!
